Sort of...

Helloooooo!!

It's been years I know, but life happens doesn't it?  Anyway, I'm back (probably) and Individual Chic is changing.  While I still have a keen interest in fashion and style, it's not something I have time to have a general interest in anymore (that life stuff, huh).

So I've decided to refocus.

It's been a while, but I'm kicking off a new sewing project and thought I'd use this blog to document the process, both as a personal record and possibly so it's of help to someone else.

I've decided to make a corset.

Why, I hear you ask?  Well, I love sewing, but haven't for quite a while (that time thing) and I've always loved the look and shape of corsets, and it's been in the back of my mind for quite some time.  It's a satisfying challenge, and it's a creative outlet, and I really need something a little creative, even "arty", to sink my teeth into at the moment.

So then why, I hear you ask again, are you wasting time with a blog when you've got all that other "life stuff" going on?

Because I am an idiot, that's why.

Anyway... I'm back.
