Orchard Corset CS-426 Steel-Boned Longline Underbust in Black Cotton

Fit
So, the under bust corset I bought a week or so ago I've been wearing for 2-3 hours a day (except for the days I was at work), so it's been on my body for about 12-15 hours I suppose. I can close it down to 4" at the back, mostly parallel*. This means it fits over the hips and waist (good) and gapes a little under the bust. Before purchasing I sent a fitting inquiry to the support staff at Orchard Corset, and this is pretty much what they said would happen (it is off the rack, after all).
Feelings

What I do notice though is wearing it seems to increase the blood pressure to my head. The first time I wore it with a bit of tightness I thought I was coming down with MasterIcy's latest cold. It was only when I took it off later I realised what was going on. Apparently this is a thing! And it take a while for the sensation to go away as well***.
So I think the whole corset thing will be an occasional thing, rather than all the time. (Maybe that's why so many brides faint - they haven't broken in their corsets/bodies properly).
It won't stop me making one though. ^_^
* Yes, I know the corset is tied at the front, and this is a no-no. However, as I'm breaking it in, I'm still gradually tightening it every 15 min or thereabouts, so it makes it easier. You shouldn't do this as an all the time thing and it puts wearlines on the outside of your corset.
** Or unsurprisingly for that much steel.
*** And then is was fine all of a sudden. The next day after writing this I had none of these sensations at all. Perhaps I really did have a touch of MasterIcy's cold.
